Introduction
Buck Hill Golf Club enjoys a long and storied past. Opening its first nine holes in 1907, Buck Hill quickly established itself as a premier course in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania.
As you play through the wooded, rolling mountainside terrain, you will experience the timeless design of lengendary golf course architects Donald Ross and Robert White. Ridge line silhouettes, relentless undulations, and classic subtleties define this 27-hole masterpiece.
Here at Buck Hill Golf Club our loyalty to the soul of the game is a century old tradition. We welcome you to cross the bridge of time, and play through history.

1 Red - Par 3 - 154 yards
Two greenside bunkers and O.B. right require a solid iron shot off this first tee. There is little chance of recovery from behind the green, so if you are in between clubs, short is better than long.

2 Red - Par 4 - 398 yards
A blind tee shot, a severely sloped fairway, and a nasty greenside bunker right make this one of the most challenging holes on the course. Odds are that the ball will be below your feet on the second shot; welcome to mountain golf.

3 Red - Par 3 - 156 yards
An uphill climb to the green adds some length to this otherwise manageable par 3. Don’t be deceived, however, the green is well guarded and anything right will almost certainly result in bogey or more.

4 Red - Par 4 - 348 yards
It’s easy to lose it right on this par 4. Accuracy, not length is paramount off this tee. The rolling terrain will reward a well controlled approach shot. The green in relatively small so two good shots can set up a good look at birdie.

5 Red - Par 4 - 419 yards
Easily the most challenging hole of all 27 here at Buck Hill. This 460 yd. par 4 demands a long and accurate tee shot. Even with a good drive, your work is far from over. A narrow elevated green will test your long iron skill. Par here usually translates into a shot on the field.

6 Red - Par 5 - 461 yards
What #5 takes, #6 can give back. With a couple of sensible shots you can certainly take advantage of this short par five. Trouble waits along the right, but there is room to recover from the left. Bogey is a disappointment here.

7 Red - Par 4 - 365 yards
A tricky tee shot puts the teeth into this par 4. Tall pines on the left narrow the throat of this gentle dogleg right. A blind second shot adds some difficulty, but all is rewarded with the expansive view from the green.

8 Red - Par 4 - 414 yards
A panoramic, but semi-blind tee shot sets up one the more dramatic approach shots on the entire course. The downhill second shot plays notably shorter than the yardage reads. Despite the challenge, it’s important to keep your approach below the hole on this back to front sloping green.

9 Red - Par 3 - 169 yards
One of the few forced carries is found on this par 3 finishing hole. Griscom Run poses the most immediate threat, but it’s the large pond that swallows the most balls. The wind and the gentle uphill rise can require an extra club.
